Acadèmia 1830 (Chamber Orchestra)

Founded: 2011 - Palma de Mallorca, Spain

The string orchestra Acadèmia 1830 is an association of young professionals and first-rate musicians Mallorca, conducted by Fernando Marina. They play mainly Baroque and symphonic music. The orchestra is a flexible and variable formation, allowing it to address a wide and very rich symphonic repertoire, from Beethoven to Baroque music, classical or modern composers of the 20th century.

The orchestra is part of the musical association Acadèmia 1830, whose aim is to spread the large repertoire of classical music in the Balearic Islands, and also has a choir.
