Judith Adamietz (Soprano)

Born: Gießen, Hesse, Germany

The German soprano, Judith Adamietz, was trainded as a primary school teacher and music educator. Following that, she began singing studies, first privately with Monika Mauch, and then with Professor Richard Wistreich at the Musikhochschule in Trossingen.

Judith Adamietz works as an oratorio singer and as a chamber music partner in various ensembles. In 2000 she founded the vocal and instrumental ensemble "il canto figurato”. The debut album of the ensemble, under the name “Serafin” was released in 2006. Since 2004 she has worked together with the panegazza consort ulm, dedicated to the early Baroque musical interpretation, but also the art of improvisation.

Concert tours have taken her to festivals in Italy, Austria and the USA.
