The English counter-tenor and laweyer, Ian Aikenhead, has been a member of several leading English vocal ensembles and choirs, including The Sixteen (Director: Harry Christophers), Monteverdi Choir (Director: John Eliot Gardiner), Polyphony (Director: Stephen Layton), The King's Consort (Director: Robert King), Cambridge Singers (Director: John Rutter), Armonico Consort (Director: Christopher Monks), Retrospect Ensemble (Director: Matthew Halls), The Tallis Scholars (Director: Peter Phillips), Chapelle du Roi (Director: Alistair Dixon) and Westminster Cathedral Choir. He currently lives in London, England.
