Amberger Oratorienchor (Choir)

Founded: April 1970 - Amberg, Germany

The goal of the Amberger Oratorienchor e.V. since its establishment in April 1970 is the development and concert-moderate rendition of high-quality choir literature from past and present. This goal, which the choir gave itself in the statute of the association, has never been lost sight of in the 30 years of its existence. The result has been presented to the public in successful concerts.

The concerts of the Amberger Oratorienchor might rank among the musical highlights of the region around Amberg and in the middle Upper Palatinate. In the centre thereby stands not only the presentation of high-quality choral concerts for the interested public. Substantial are also the engaged, common encounters of about 90 singers through extensive choir literature.
