Ars Voce (Vocal Ensdemble)

Founded: 199 - Battle Creek, Michigan Website

Ars Voce ("the vocal art") is an ensemble of 12 singers performing the a cappella music of many centuries, from sacred classics and madrigals of the Renaissance, to the unique music of early America, to contemporary expressions, sacred and secular. Ars Voce's-co-founder and director is Mark Wells.

Ars Voce has sung to enthusiastic audiences at the Stratford Festival of Canada, and in England at the Royal Northern College of Music and the cathedrals of Chester and Winchester. Whether in performances with the Battle Creek Boychoir or Girls' Chorus, or engagements of their own, Ars Voce brings a polished and elegant approach to the vocal art. Ars Voce maintains a busy schedule of performances in the community.
