Alessandra Artifoni (Harpsichord)

Born: December 2, 1967 - Florence, Italy

The Italian harpsichordist, Alessandra Artifoni, began to study the harpsichord at the age of 9. It was at that early age that she became an enthusiast of early music, in particular of J.S. Bach's. She studied at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and Liceo Classico Galileo.

Alessandra Artifoni teaches at the Conservatorio B.Maderna Di Cesena. She is a member of the early music instrumental ensemble Auser Musici, and of the Duo Quint-Artifoni (with the Baroque cellist Jean-Marie Quint).
