Frieder Aurich (Tenor)

Born: 1969 - Karl-Marx-Stadt (AKA Bezirk Chemnitz), Saxony, Germany

The German tenor, Frieder Aurich, studied singing at the Musikhochschule Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden wit Margret Trappe-Wiel, Hartmut Zabel and Kammersänger Armin Ude.

Following studies, Frieder Aurich was engaged at the Schleswig-Holsteinischen Landestheater in Flensburg Landestheater in Flensburg and the Landesbühnen Sachsen in Dresden-Radebeul. Since 1999 he has been a permanent member of the Deutschen Nationaltheater in Weimar. His debut in Weimar he gave as Wirt in Rosenkavalier and has since ha bener been in all roles of buffo tenor and character compartment. In 2007 he appeared successfully as Mime in Siegfried, having previously shone as Mime in Rheingold.

Many concerts in churches and concert halls, mainly in central Germany, round off the extensive repertoire of Frieder Aurich.
