The Brillant Magnus Quintet (= BMQ) is a chamber group formed by three trumpets, organ / piano and percussion.
The BMQ offers a new sound that combines the brightness of the metal with the energy of percussion wrapped by the harmonies of the piano. This original instrumental training allows them to create a sound environment that surprises by the explosive combination of instruments, the virtuosity of its components, the freshness of their performances, with a start dynamic scene, always moving with constant winks at humor.
The repertoire of the BMQ is carefully sought, chosen, transcribed, arranged or composed especially for the group, so that has been developing an own unique musical world, and a particular vision of works of different styles and authors ranging from the Renaissance to the present day. |
