Andrea Bierbaum (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: Austria

The Austrian mezzo-soprano, Andrea Bierbaum, studied singing at the Konservatorium in Innsbruck and at the Musikhochschule in München, among others, with Brigitte Fassbaender.

Guest engagements have led her to Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Opernhaus Zürich, Festwoche Alte Musik under Alan Curtis. After years as successful opera and concert performer in Germany she returned to her homeland. She now dedicates herself mainly to the concert hall and the church music.
