Liliana Natalie Buickians (Soprano)

Born: Los Angeles, California, USA

The Armenian-American soprano, Liliana Natalie Buickians, She recently completed her Masters degree at the Eastman School of Music under the tutelage of Robert Swensen. She is in her first year of the Doctoral program at the Eastman School of Music, where she studies with Kathryn Cowdrick.

Her recent engagements include playing the role of Giulietta in Les Contes díHoffmann at the Napa Music Festival and Elle in Francis Poulenc's La Voix Humaine with Eastman Opera Theatre. While in undergrad at Azusa Pacific University, she performed the roles of Fanny in Rossiniís La Cambiale di Matrimonio and Mrs. Ford in the West-Coast premiere of Salieriís Falstaff. In scenes, she has preformed as Ginevra in George Frideric Handel's Ariodante, Pamina in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Susanna and Marcellina in W.A. Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, and Mercedes in Georges Bizet's Carmen. An avid recitalist, she has participated numerous times in the Eastman School of Music: Bach Cantata Series and the Eastman Collegium under the baton of Paul O'Dette.
