Mads Damlund (Organ)

Born: Denmark

The Danish organist, Mads Damlund, studied organt and piano at Royal Danish Academy of Music (Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium = DKDM), and in soloist class at the same institute. He has also studied a year at the Conservatoire Nationale Supérieure de Musique, Lyon.

Mads Damlund serves as organist at Jægersborg church in Copehangen 2006. In 2007 he played Dietrich Buxtehude's complete organ works, and he has recorded CD's of music by J.S. Bach and D. Buxtehude. He has also played major oratorios and other works with the ensemble Jægersborg Consort.
