The Baroque ensemble Dolce Follia, was founded in 2011. Its goal is to perform European early music The ensemble focuses its research in a dynamic synthesis between the historical and stylistic knowledge and creative imagination assumed as musicians of our time.
Flexible ensemble, Dolce Follia weaves its programmes as meticulous paintings. Epic of a globe-trotter in stilettos ("musical journey of a man of the world") , Italy-Germany-London journeys ("gondolas on the Thames") , a saga of Instrumentarium become or declining ("the swan song of the flute", "Birth of a Muse") , endless recommencement of a bass that never above ("Ostinato")... pigs, amphitryons and nymphs, is brocardent for futile and yet essential pleasure of curious ear.
Baroque is human, alive but not immortal, authentic and cheater, sometimes turbulent, passionate or love. The musicians all have at heart to make each concert a moment of exchange, offering, when the proposal won a concert commented.
