The young Baroque ensemble La Festa Musicale is located in northern Germany. Temperament, playfulness and virtuosity - these are the means by which the musicians to breathe of new life to old music. La Festa Musicale puts its repertoire focus on High Baroque orchestral works, cantatas and oratorios and concertos so far mainly in northern Germany.
The instrumentalists of the ensemble are mainly graduates of music academies in Hannover and Bremen and play in Baroque ensembles as Cantus Cölln, Das Kleine Konzert, Collegium Cartusianum, Musica Alta Ripa, Hannoversche Hofkapelle, Lautten Compagney Berlin, among others.
Appearances at the Internationalen Händelfestspielen in Göttingen and Halle, Rheingau-Musikfestival, Telemannzentrum Magdeburg, Usedomer Musikfestival and at numerous other concerts throughout Germany and Europe, they appear as serious, charismatic Baroque musicians of the new generation.
