Franzpeter Goebels (Piano, Harpsichord, Arranger)

Born: 1920 - Mühlheim an der Ruhr, Germany
Died: 1988

The German pianist and harpsichordist, Franzpeter Goebels, was pupil of Raoul von Koczalski and Karl-Hermann Pillney.

From 1947 on Franzpeter Goebels taught at the Robert-Schumann-Konservatorium Düsseldorf. In 1958 he became Professor at the Nordwestdeutschen Musikakademie Detmold. He played mostly early music, but, in addition, saw the importance of playing new music as well.
