Corinne Grendelmeier-Nipp (Mezzo-soprano, Choral Conductor, Organ)

Born: Region Olten, Switzerland

The Swiss mezzo-soprano, choral conductor, organist and music teacher, Corinne Grendelmeier-Nipp, grew up in the Region Olten. She studied at the Akademie für Schul- und Kirchenmusik Luzern and obtained the diplomas A church music in conducting and organ. Further studies led to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she studied the subjects conducting, singing, organ and music theory. She graduated with the renowned organist exam "Associate of the Royal College of Organists", awarded for the best performance in music theory. She then studied at the Musikakademie St. Gallen solo singing and graduated in 2004 with the Teaching Diploma.

Corinne Grendelmeier-Nipp directs the Katholischen Kirchenchor Sargans and the Evangelischen Kirchenchor Sargans-Mels-Vilters-Wangs. She has worked as an organist in several churches and teaches singing and vocal youth training at the Liechtensteinischen Musikschule. Since August 2005 she has been singing teacher and Regional principal of the Diözesanen Kirchenmusikschule (DKMS) dkms Sarganserland-Werdenberg.
