The English choral conductor and tenor, Christopher Hahn, obtained his undergraduate degree in Vocal Studies from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, studying with Stephen Robertson; and his Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from The Royal Academy of Music (2010-July 2012), studying with Patrick Rusill and Paul Brough.
Christopher Hahn has established himself as a highly accomplished Choral Conductor, working with all ages and abilities from Youth Choirs to amateur Choral Societies to professional ensembles. He is currently the Artistic Director of his own professional vocal ensemble Dieci Voices and of Berkshire County Youth Choirs consisting of Berkshire Childrenís Choir, Berkshire Young Voices and Berkshire Youth Choir. He is also Musical Director of Reading Phoenix Choir (since January 2017), Bookham Choral Society, Streatham Choral Society, and Harpenden Music Makers. He is also an assistant conductor for The National Youth Choirs of Great Britain. Other Choirs he has worked with include; the BBC Singers, The Choir of St Bartholomew the Great, The Choir of Brompton Oratory, Glasgow University Chapel Choir, Royal Holloway Chapel Choir, The Paisley Festival Chorus, The RAM Chamber choir and The National Boys Choir of Scotland.
Alongside his choral conducting, Christopher Hahn is a talented consort singer and performs regularly with some of the countryís leading ensembles such as: Polyphony (Director: Stephen Layton), Philharmonia Voices, Platinum Consort, Cappella Nova, Ludus Baroque, The Eric Whitacre Singers, London Voices (Director: Terry Edwards). He also sings in some of Londonís premier Church and Cathedral Choirs such as: Westminster Abbey Choir, Choir of St. Paul's Cathedral, St Georges Chapel Windsor, The Tower of London, St Brideís Fleet Street and The Brompton Oratory. He currently lives in London, England.
