Bernard Héritier (Choral Conductor)

Born: Switzerland

The Swiss choral conductor, Bernard Héritier, received his basic musical training with the Schola des Petits Chanteurs de Notre-Dame de Sion. Apart from his theology studies in Fribourg, he obtained in 1985 a professional diploma of singing in the class of Tiny Westendorp. He also participated in courses of choral and orchestral conducting.

His solid education allows Bernard Héritier to launch intensive musical activities. He sings in various choirs of the Western part of Switzerland (among them Chœur des XVI in Fribourg), leads several vocal quartets, as well as Chœur Novantiqua since 1980 and Chœur des Collèges de Sion (1980-2000).
