Isabel Jantschek (Soprano)

Born: 1989 - Cottbus, Brandenburg, Germany

The German soprano, Jantschek-Schicketanz, began music lessons at the age of 5 at the Cottbus Conservatoire in piano, violin and singing. Since 2008 she has studied at the Musikhochschule in Dresden with Hendrikje Wangemann and in addition she has attended Olaf Bär's Lieder class since 2011. Other singers who have had a considerable influence on her include Dorothee Mields, Ludger Rémy, Ruth Ziesak, Ingeborg Danz, and Britta Schwarz.

Isabel Jantschek has sung with conductors including Peter Schreier and Michael Sanderling, and, as a member and choral soloist in the Dresdner Kammerchor, on CD and radio productions with Adam Fischer, Riccardo Chailly, Sir Roger Norrington, Herbert Blomstedt, and Reinhard Goebel.
