Falk Joost (Bass)

Born: Gotha, Thuringia, Germany

The German bass, Falk Joost, studied singing at the Hochschule "Carl Maria von Weber" in Dresden with Professor Gisela Burkhardt and composition with Professor Dr. Volker Hahn. He had also private studies with with Mrs. KS Irmgard Boaz.

After angagements at the Staatsopernchor der Semperoper in Dresden and RIAS-Kammerchor in Berlin (one year), Falk Joost has operated since January 2004 as a freelance singer in the concerts, with many ensembles (e.g. Vocalconsort Berlin, Lautencompagney Berlin, SchützConsort Leipzig, InCanto Weimar) and the opera area (Neuköllner Oper Berlin, Lausitzer Opernsommer Cottbus, etc.). His compositions are included in the framework of the Forum Concerts of the RIAS-Kammerchor.
