Klaudia Kidon (Soprano)

Born: Copenhagen, Denmark

The Danish soprano, Klaudia Kidon, studied singing at the Music Academy in Katowice (Poland) and then began the soloist class at the Royal Danish Academy of Music (Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium), where she made her debut concert in 1995. She has since May 1997 been a regular member of the Danish National Vocal Ensemble (DR VokalEnsemblet).

Klaudia Kidon appears mostly as a concert singer with a focus on Lieder, oratorios and newly written music. Besides her work in Danish National Vocal Ensemble, she is a member of Mozart Trio and of Enghave Barok, which specializes in the music of J.S. Bach. In this context, she has appeared in a variety series of J.S. Bach's Cantatas and Masses. She was also a member of ARS NOVA Copenhagen. She currently lives in Copenhagen, Denmark
