Irmtraut König (Soprano)

Born: 1952 - Riestedt, near Eisleben, Germany

The German soprano, Irmtraut König, received her first musical training in the Rundfunkjugendchor Wernigerode. Then she studied music education at the Martin-Luther-Universität in Halle.

Irmtraut König has been a member of the Hallenser Madrigalisten. She teaches singing and choral conducting at the University of Erfurt. Since 1995, she is a member of of the Erfurter Camerata.
