Sabine Laubach (Soprano)

Born: Germany

The German soprano, Sabine Laubach, studied singing at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf and at the Jordan College of Fine Arts in Indianapolis, USA. Already during her studies, she was finalist and prize-winner in competition and participated in university productions such as Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicci.

Engagements have led Sabine Laubach, among others, to the Schwetzinger Festspielen, the Düsseldorfer Operette and the Jungen Kammeroper Köln, where she performed, among others, the main roles in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni, W.A. Mozart's Entführung aus dem Serail, Georges Bizet's Carmen, Gasparone, and Der Vogelhändler. She sings as a soloist in church and chamber music concerts at home and abroad and is a guest at concerts, galas, Lieder recitals and cabaret and chanson performances.

At the Neuen Operette Düsseldorf, Sabine Laubach could be seen as Julia de Werth in Der Vetter aus Dingsda, Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus and lastly as Countess Mariza in the operetta of the same name. In Zigeunerbaron, she will be seen in the role of the gypsy Saffi. She is a member of Chorus Musicus Köln (Director: Christoph Spering).
