Holger Linn (Bass)

Born: Winterberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

The German bass, Holger Linn, studied church music and music education at the universities of Aachen and Lübeck. After completing his Diploma and State Exam with honours, he worked as organist and choir-master. A twice in a row conferred graduate scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes) took him to the Art Kunstuniversität Graz, where he 2008 his vocal studies with Professor Ulf Bästlein with distinction. In addition to master-classes and scholarships (including the regional government of Styria, American Institute of Musical Studies) he had further singing training, mainly with the soprano Professor Rosemarie Schmied.

Recitals and numerous roles as a soloist in oratorios and measurement (eg Haydn Festival Eisenstadt, Bachwoche Stuttgart, MUK Lübeck) testify to his interest in the concert field. Holger Linn had experience on stage was at the Theater im Palais’ der Kunstuniversität and at the Oper Graz.
