Vokalensemble Marburg (Chamber Choir)

Founded: 1972 - Marburg, Hesse, Germany
Disbanded: 1992

The Vokalensemble Marburg, founded by Rolf Beck, brought to their audience between 1972 and 1992 sophisticated, but rarely performed choral music from all styles. The focus was on A-cappella works, supplemented by individual oratorio works.

Vokalensemble Marburg With Rolf Beck won numerous important prizes, such as in 1976 the second place at the International Choir Festival in Cork, Ireland, and likewise the second place in 1982 at the German Choir Festival in Cologne.
