Vokalensemble Marienhain (Vocal Ensemble)

Founded: 1998 - Vechta, Lower Saxony, Germany

Vokalensemble Marienhain from the the Lower Saxon town of Vechta is a mixed choir of about in 40 members . The choir's repertoire includes works of all periods and styles, sacred and secular music, from the Renaissance to the present. Numerous sold-out concerts and recordings are witness to that.. Since its foundation in 1998, Robert Eilers has been the conductor of the Vokalensemble Marienhain.

The choir has performed in many German cities. The highlights of the tours abroad were concerts at the cathedral of Riga, Latvia and a performance in October 2012 in Novi Sad and Belgrade, Serbia; and, in 2014 the choir took part in its first international festival - Ohrid Choir Festival in the Republic of Macedonia..
