The Portuguese pianist, Fillipe Mendel Vargas Costa, was born to Reformed Christian family with strong influence in music from an early age. He began studying piano at age 10 with Professores: Ana Lucia Passarelli, Antonio Eduardo and Maestro Reverend Silas Palermo and the School of Music and Dance Technique: Ivanildo Rebouças da Silva "Municipal Conservatory of Cubatão, obtaininh degree in music by Dramatic and Musical Conservatory Dr. Carlos de Campos in Tatuí/SP in Regency Symphonic Band and Orchestra Conducting in 2010.
Fillipe Mendel worked as a pianist of Brazilian Music Group of the Municipal Conservatory of Cubatao from 2011 to 2013 and also as pianist of the Coral between from 2007 to 2010. He also perormed as a concert pianist from 2005 until 2013, where he had to stop by problems in his right hand. He was also a musician of the Brazilian Army Band from, 2008 to 2010.
Fillipe Mendel was Master-Auxiliary Baptist Church from 2011 to 2014, doing the works: Requiem in D minor K.626 by W.A. Mozart, Stabat Mater by G. Rossini, Gloria in D by Antonio Vivaldi and other works of composers renowned scholars and Christian cantatas. He was the pianist of Igreja Presbiteriana do Brasil (Presbyterian Church of Cubatão) from February 2007 to April 2016. He also works as a singing teacher and conductor, as well a composer, arranger and conductor in a Brass Band of your city. HAe currently lives in Cubatão, Brazil.
