Caroline Nielson (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: Dallas, Texas, USA

The American mezzo-soprano, Caroline Nielson, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree from the Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee (2011-2015). She obtained her Master of Music degree in Voice and Opera from the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, New York (2015-2017).

During her studies at the Belmont University, Caroline Nielson was a section leader in Sanctuary Chorale at the First Presbyterian Church and a chorus member in Nashville Opera (2014-2015). In autumn 2013, she appeared on the nationally televised "Christmas at Belmont" concert airing on PBS. In September 2015, she was a soloist in the 2015-2016 opening concert of the Eastman School of Music: Bach Cantata Series.
