Daniel Pérez (Baritone, Choral Conductor)

Born: Switzerland

The Swiss baritone and choral conductor, Daniel Pérez, studied singing in Lucerne with Professor Peter Brechbühler, Zurich and Berlin with Professor Scot Weir. In 2013, he received his Master of Arts degree in Vocal Pedagogy (with distinction). Hae attended master-classes with Sylvia Greenberg, Meinard Kraak and Thomas Quasthoff and a Lied class with Wolfram Rieger.

Daniel Pérez performs regularly in Switzerland and abroad. His solo activities include church music concerts and chamber music performances. In addition to his concert career, he lgived private singing lessons. From 2011 to 2013, he studied conducting with Marc Kissoczy at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK). In the same period he is Musical Director of Vocalino Wettingen. He issues regularly vocal training for foreign choirs. He is also a board member of the Wettinger Sommerkonzerte.
