Pittsburgh Baroque Ensemble was founded in 2008 by Baroque trumpeter Rick Murrell. The Mission of Pittsburgh Baroque Ensemble is to provide historically-informed performances of Baroque Era masterworks on period instruments, in collaboration with diverse instrumentalists and both solo and choral singers from the Greater Pittsburgh Area.
Pittsburgh Baroque Ensemble are the Artists-in-Residence at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Highland Park, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their musicians are available to play for weddings and other engagements. |
