As a member of the BBC Singers, Kim Porter takes a probably perverse pleasure in getting her teeth stuck into the complex contemporary music the ensemble often performs. She has also been a member of The Tallis Scholars (Director: Peter Phillips). She loves the diversity of what they do, and the juxtaposition of programmes from the Renaissance to 'ink-wet' commissions is what keeps the job alive for her.
