Pavel Ricar (Guitar)

Born: Koeniggraetz, Czechoslovakia

The Czech guitarist, Pavel Ricar, began taking piano lessons at the age of six and received his first tutoring on guitar when he was ten years old. Inspired by his parents, he quickly understood what music would be in his future live! Looked upon as a child prodigy, Pavel won the international guitar festival, held at Pressburg, at 13. After passing his final examinations at school, he began his studies at Prague Conservatorie. His classical guitar teacher being Professor Milan Zelenka.

Pavel Ricar started his work as classical concert guitarist 1968. P.R. is actually living in Southern Germany. Beside his classical work he is very interested in other music jangling, like blues/country and popular music.

Pavel Ricar is actually working with/worked for: Berliner Symphoniker, Bach Colegium München Germany, Moscow Symphony Orchestra and Pavel Cogan, Norbert Pawera, AKG microphonsystems CD-Audisphere BAP 1000.
