Patrick Ringal-Daxhelet (Bass)

Born: Belgium

The Belgian bass, Patrick Ringal-Daxhelet has taken part in many festivals: Festival Berlioz (La Côte Saint-André), Festival de Sablé sur Sarthe, Saint-Antoine, Festival du Haut-Perigord, Aldeburgh Festival, Festival Van Vlaanderen, Festival de Namur, Festival International J.S. Bach (St-Donat), Magdebourger Telemann-Festtage, Festival d'Ambronay ... under the baton of conductors as Louis Devos, Anthony Rolfe-Johnson, Mirella Giardelli, David Jackson, Janos Acs, Alain Carré, Jean-Claude Malgoire, Florian Heyerick, Jonathan Fox, Jean-Luc Impe, Jacques Vanherenthals, Thomas Albert, Patrick Baton, Philippe Pierlot... and many others.

Patrick Ringal-Daxhelet created Albert with Jean-Pierre Moemaers; spectacle of French melodies. Like Divo Capri performed at the Palais des Beaux-Arts of Brussels. He was a soloist with the Opéra-Studio de la Monnaie where he performed the roles of Sarastro in Magic Flute, and of the King of Club in Love of Three Oranges. At the Festival of Ambronay, he took part in the creation of Persée by Lully with "Menus plaisirs du Roy". He also sung in Alceste, under the direction of Jean-Claude Malgoire. At the Festival of Sablé sur Sarthe he took part in the creation of La Provençale by Mouret, as well as La fille mal gardée by Duny, also with "Menus plaisirs du Roy". He performed the role of Pollux in Castor et Pollux by Jean-Philippe Rameau with Barockorchester Bremen, also Polyphemus in Acis and Galatea by George Frideric Handel. He also sang Canto General by Mr. Théodorakis, under the direction of Daniel Lipnik, and Don Quichotte by Georg Philipp Telemann with Ricercar Consort at the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing in a scene setting of Alain Carré, as well as the Messe de Chimay by L. Chérubini under the direction of Jean-Claude Malgoire. With the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, he sang Le Marchand d'Images by Andre Souris, under the direction of Patrick Baton. He sang with Agnès Mellon and Le Mercure Galant: Davidis pugna et victoria by Alessandro Scarlatti, under the direction of Florian Heyerick at the Festival "Musiques d'Automne". At Stadschouburg of Utrecht, he sang Messiah by G.F. Handel, in a scene setting of Eric Fraad and under the direction of Florian Heyerick. He performed the role of Caiphe in Jesus Christ Superstar in the city of Villers.

Also an actor, Patrick Ringal-Daxhelet has just played in la jalousie du Barbouillé and le médecin volant by Molière. He finishes the mixing of a rock opera Black Arthur Album, with Coldgenius, the group which he created with Jean-Pierre Moemaers. He currently prepares its third spectacle scene staging of songs of the Seventies.
