Kim Sargsyan (Bass-Baritone, Violin)

Born: 1984 - Yerevan, Armenia

The Armenian bass-baritone and violinist, Kim Sargsyan, studied from 1990 to 2000 at Piotor Tchaikovsky Musical School in Violin Department (Teacher: Professor. Tatyana Hayrapetyan); from 2000 to 2005 at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas in Violin Department (Class of Professor. Bargat Vardanyan); and, since 2010 at the same Conservatory in Deparment of Classical Singing (Teacher: Docent Anna Mayilyan). In 2012 he participated in “Hariclea Darclee” International Voice Competition (Diplom)

Since 2004 Kim Sargsyan works in the Armenian State Opera & Ballet Theater Orchestra (First Violinists group); since 2008 he is a member of “Hover” Chamber Choir. From 2005 to 2007 he worked in Artsach State Chamber Orchestra (Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh First Violinists group, Concertmeister); from 2005 to 2007 he was engaged in the Artsach State Chamber Choir (Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh); since 2011 he is a member of “Armenian Voices” Vocal Septet.

Since 2011 Kim Sargsyan as a soloist-singer had numerous concerts with Soloists State Chamber Orchestra and State Philharmonic Orchestra. Had numerous festival tourney with “Hover” Chamber Choir and “Armenian Voices”. Has numerous recordings as a singer and violinist as well.
