Annette L. Simonsen (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: Denmark

The Danish mezzo-soprano, Annette [Anette] L. Simonsen, studied at the University of Copenhagen and the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen, followed by further studies in London and Seattle.

Anette Simonsen is a member of the Danish National Radio Choir and has an extensive concert schedule as an oratorio and Lied singer. She frequently appears as a soloist with the Danish symphony orchestras and ensembles, and has sung first performances of many contemporary works. She is a regular visiting soloist in Sweden, Norway, Germany, England, Switzerland and the USA. She has appeared on several CD recordings.
