TheCroatian pianist, Ante Sladoljev, He finished music school Pavao Markovac in the class of Proesor Mare Bolfek and Classical High School. He obtained his Master of Arts degree in Piano in 2011 from the Muzičkoj Akademiji Sveučilišta (Music Academy) in Zagreb in the class of Katarina Krpan, where he is currently on postgraduate studies. He has received numerous awards at international competitions in Italy (Rosone 1996; San Bartolomeo al Mare 1997; Moncalieri 1998; Città di Pinerolo 1999; Rina Sala Gallo 2001; Città di Gorizia 2006) and Croatia (Etide i skale 1996; Zlatko Grgošević 2000 & 2006; Taurisano 2010; Barletta, 2011). He studied with eminent music teachers such as Sijavuš Gadžijev, Arbo Valdma, Jean-François Antonioli, Federico Gianello, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Filippo Gamba, and others. Currently he is a third year student of orchestral conducting at the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu with Proessor Mladen Tarbuk .
Ante Sladoljev has performed as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. He premiered several works by Croatian composers, some of which were made for Croatian Television. Since 2009 he participates in the HR-project that deals with the popularization of Croatian musical opus, and for which he received a special Rector's Award. In 2013, he received the Croatian Composers Society Award for best performance of a work by the Croatian composer Darko Lukić.
