Daniel Spiotta (Bass)

Born: Memphis, Tennessee, USA

The American bass, Daniel Spiotta, is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, where he won the prestigious Lotte Lenya Competition, which led him to tour Japan and Taiwan as the only male soloist singing in every major opera house in those countries.. He has been trained in opera, music theatre, pop, rock, and R&B. Daniel is a two time Grand Award winner of the Mid-South Fair, a regional Metropolitan Opera competition winner, and he continues to sing around the Mid-South area.

Daniel Spiotta most recently sang at Lincoln Center and Canegie Hall with the New York City Lyric Opera's production of Romeo and Juliet. He has recorded for Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Sony, Nike, Disney, KFC, Patron Tequila, as well as several independent musicals. He has been singing and acting professionally in New York City for the past 9 years. His New York City, national tours, and regional theatre credits include, Les Miserables, Camelot, Carousel, Pirates of Penzance, The Full Monty, Beauty and the Beast, Titanic, Jekyll and Hyde, Patent Leather shoes, Asylum, etc... His television work has included Gossip Girl, Law and Order Criminal Intent, 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Onion Sports Network, and Absolutely Fabulous.
