Arkady Steinlucht (Conductor)

Born: September 27, 1949 - Leningrad, Russia

The Russian conductor, Arkady [Arkadiy, Arkadii, Arkadi] Matveyevich Steinlucht [Steinluht, Schteinlukht] [Russian: Аркадий Штейнлухт], graduated from Leningrad Conservatoire as choir and opera - symphony conductor.

Arkady Steinlucht worked as choir-master in Leningrad Capella from 1971 to 1978; was conductor in Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre; headed the chamber orchestra "St.Petersburg Mozarteum". At present time he is the conductor of St.Petersburg Children Music Theater "Zazerkalye". He has conducted at the theaters of Minsk, Kharkov, Novosibirsk, and concert halls of Odessa, Ekaterinburg, Stockholm, Berlin, Hamburg, Basel, Tokyo, etc.

Arkady Steinlucht has recorded many gramophone records and CD's.
