The American mezzo-soprano and choral conductor, Allison Thorp-Coughlin, Allison is a doctoral student at the Eastman School of Music in the prestigious Choral Conducting program.

Allison Thorp-Coughlin joined the staff of South Presbyterian Church in 2012 as Music Director when she and her husband, Sean Coughlin (an instrumental music teacher who is a jazz sax player) moved to Rochester from Kentucky. She leads both the Chancel Singers and the Mt. Hope World Singers at South.
