Trio d'Anches de Cologne (Wind Trio)

Founded: Cologne, Germany

Trio d'Anches de Cologne is the unique combination of three solo musicians from the WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln, Germany. The trio has received enthusiastic response from audiences and critics with their moderated concerts in Germany, throughout Europe and Japan.

Originally anches a classic "Trio d'anches" in the occupation of oboe, clarinet, bassoon, the Trio de Cologne has developed as one of the most successful and innovative wind bands. What distinguishes these three musicians especially, is the obvious interplay and the ease of interpretation. The technical and interpretive perfection of the Trio d'Anches de Cologne enables an innovative and independent music enjoyment. The humorous hosted concerts by the Trio d'Anches de Cologne are designated for music lovers as a whole new audience for musical experiences of particular brilliance.

This trio makes music for over 10 years as part of the orchestral playing and chamber music making. The perfectly-rehearsed ensemble interprets stylish music of the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and. Romantic. The trio not only brilliantly performs seldom played, highly demanding pieces; they also pioneer in performing trend-setting works of modern chamber music, from contemporary to jazz.
