Desirée Verlann (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: The Netherlands

The Dutch mezzo-soprano, Desirée Verlaan, studied speech therapy at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (1985-1990); singing at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (1990-1992); music theory at Schumann Academie (1992-1995); and passed the eXam of music singing teacher at Schumann Academie (1999).

Desirée Verlaan is a member of Cappella Amsterdam (Director: Daniel Reuss) since 2000. She also works as a speech therapist, coach for singing, workshops about voice, singing and expression for different groups.(communication).
