Jens Weber (Tenor)

Born: San Francisco, California, USA

The American tenor, Jens Weber, was born in San Francisco, USA and grew up in Santiago, Chile. He studied political science at the Universität St. Gallen. He studied singing with Lina Maria Akerlund in Winterthur and Margreet Honig in Amsterdam. He had further training with Nicolai Gedda, and participated in master-classes with Kurt Widmer, Maarten Koningsberger and Jeffrey Thomas.

As Lieder and oratorio singer Jens Weber has appeared successfully in Switzerland and abroad. He is holder of the Migros scholarship.
