Gottlob Ludwig Raden (Bach's Pupil)

Born: April 12, 1718 - Zeitz, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany
Died: June 1, 1764 - Zeitz, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany

Gottlob Ludwig Rasden was a Gaerman organist. He enrolled at the University of Leipzig in July 1737 (until 1742?). He studied privately with J.S. Bach in Leipzig duriung this period. In 1742 he was appointed organist at the Michaeliskirche in Zeitz, and in 1756 he succeeded Johann Ludwig Krebs as organist at the Schloßkirche (Court Chapel) there.
