Andrey Schulz-Evler (Composer, Arranger)

Born: December 12, 1852 - Radom, Poland
Died: May 15, 1905, Warsaw, Poland

The Polish composer and pianist, Andrey [Andrei, Andrej] Schulz-Evler, studied at the Warsaw Conservatory, and later with Tausig in Berlin.

Andrey Schulz-Evler was professor of piano at the Kharkow Music School from 1888 to 1904). He published 52 piano pieces and songs. His transcription of the Blue Danube Waltz was very popular with pianists for a time.
