Rosalie Ardts (Contralto, Mezzo-soprano)

Born: April 14, ____ - Eindhoven, Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands

The Dutch contralto/mezzo-soprano, Rosalie Ardts, grew up in a musical family in Sint-Oedenrode. From a young age, she sang in children's choirs and played piano and violin. She studied illustration and animation at the AKVI St.Joost in Breda (September 2013-June 2018) and remained musically active. During this time, she decided to change direction in music. After a preparatory year at the Conservatorium van Tilburg and with her bachelor's degree in illustration, she began her vocal studies at the Conservatorium van Antwerpen with Andrew Richards in 2018. She also participated in master-classes with Jard van Nes and Andrew Watts, among others.

Rosalie Ardts now sings internationally and collaborates with Consensus Vocalis (Director: Béni Csillag) on choral and opera productions, including those with the Nederlandse Reisopera. In January 2025, she performed her master's concert "Laat Me Zingen" (Let Me Sing) at TivoliVredenburg Utrecht. Her exceptional voice, characterized by a multi-colored palette and expressive power, was met with praise. She currently lives in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
