The French bass, Jean Ballereau, studied choral singing at the Maîtrise de la Perverie in Nantes from the age of 14. He then deepened his practice of singing with Yves Sotin, Philippe Lévy and Muriel Souty in the Conservatories of Angers, Saint Germain en Laye and Alençon.
