Robin Bennett (Tenor)

Born: England

The English tenor, Robin Bennett, studied English Literature at Cambridge University (1997-1999). During his studies there he was a member of the Choir of Gonville & Caius College Canbridge (Director: Geoffrey Webber).

Robin Bennett has spent most of his adult life combining his passion for writing, music and brands with his passion for ethical causes. Indeed, he wrote his first environmental exposé in a school paper aged 12 and ran his first charity fundraiser at the same age. The first song he wrote, aged 14, was a ditty about conserving trees. He has become known for his role founding and directing Truck Festival in Oxfordshire over the past 13 years, and since 2007 running numerous other events and brands on behalf of my company, Truck Enterprises (January 2007-January 2012). All of these events have raised funds for, or provided a communications platform for, charities and other causes, whilst also supporting grass-roots music.

Robin Bennett has also become a successful songwriter in the bands Goldrush and now in The Dreaming Spires (since January 2011), and a part-time university lecturer at Ruskin College, Oxford (March 2012-Aoril 2013).
