The Hungarian soprano, Zsófia [Szófi] Bódi, received her diploma in singing in 2010 as a student of Katalin Halmai at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest.
Between 2011-2012 Zsófia Bódi was a member of the Hungarian Radio Chorus, but since 2006 she has been working with conductor György Vashegyi as a member of the Purcell Choir. Since June 2016, she is also a member of Nemzeti Énekkar (National Choir). In the fall of 2013, she was admitted to the class of professors Krisztina Láki and Thomas Mohr, at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen In Hungary and in Germany she has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in opera studios and in oratorio concerts.
Zsófia Bódi also works as a music therapist at Apró Lépések Egyesület (since September 2018), and as a self-employed voice teacher in Budapest (since October 2018). She currently lives in Budapest, Hungary. |
