The English soprano, Abigail Boreham, was a choral and academic scholar at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where she read Modern Languages. She studies singing with Alison Wells.
Abigail Boreham is a member of the Choir of Gonville & Caius College, Canbridge. She performs with professional vocal ensembles across the south of England, notably the Choir of London and the Sarum Consort. She has played major roles in operas by Gluck, Gilbert and Sullivan, Purcell and Mozart. Recent solo performances in concert have included George Frideric Handel's Dixit Dominus at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability, Putney, Mozart's Requiem for Canford College, Dorset and Haydn's Creation with the Cambridgeshire Choral Society. Projects for 2005 included a tour to Venice and Florence with Sarum Voices and a recording of music by Hildegard von Bingen with the Oxford Camerta. |
