The Hungarian baritone, Ákos Borka, is currently a student of Judit Németh and István Kovács.
Ákos Borka is a member of the National Choir (Nemzeti Énekkarnak) in addition to the Purcell Choir, but also led his own choir for several years. As a soloist, he has worked with conductors such as Helmuth Rilling, György Vashegyi, Csaba Somos, and Zoltán Pad, the Kodály Philharmonic (Kodály Filharmonikusokkal), the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra (Miskolci Szimfonikus Zenekarral), and the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra (Pannon Filharmonikusokkal), and he also regularly has the opportunity to lead the Orfeo Orchestra and the Purcell Choir (Director: György Vashegyi). He currently lives in Kismaros, Pest, Hungary. |
