The Dutch soprano/mezzo-soprano and pan flute player, Lisa Groothedde-Bunt, started playing the pan flute in 2007 at the age of 8 at the Muziekschool Cultura in Ede. In addition, she received private interpretation lessons from Wim Serlie. On April 15, 2011 she participated in the Concours voor Blaasinstrumenten en Zang of Cultura in Ede. She was accompanied by the pianist Wim Serlie. During this Concours, she won 1st Prize in her (age) category. She also won the public prize and the Cultura Award for the total competition. She attended a master-class with Matthijs Koene. On May 17, 2014, she participated in the National Panfluit Solisten Concours and won 1st Prize in her age category, followed by another master-class with Matthijs Koene. On September 13, 2014, she participated in the Nederlands Premiere Concours. Here, too, she won first prize. She studied at VLC (2011-2016) and at Jacobus Fruytier Scholengemeenschap (JFSG) in Apeldoorn. In 2019, she graduated cum laude from the Conservatory of Amsterdam as a music teacher (Bachelor), in which she majored in singing with Valeria Mignaco (early music), Pieter van Breugel (own practice, singer and speech therapist) and René Harp. She continued her studies with Valeria Mignaco to delve into performing early music.
Lisa Bunt she is part of the Geistliches Consort, which focuses on performing early music. In addition to her singing performances, she also works as a music teacher in secondary education. She married the organist Maurits Bunt in July 2020. |
